Chikin-Ha

The newest ecoadventure in the area is the half-day tour to Chikin-Ha (tel. 984/873-2036; www.alltournative.com), also known as the Mayan Canopy Tour.

You have the option of hiking or biking through the landscape past a series of three cenotes. You can stop and swim in each, or choose to take a zip-line over the cenote and tropical landscape.

Departures from Cancún are $87, or $78 for children under 12, and include transportation, guide, equipment, snacks and beverages.
